Hello Rock Harvest Farm Community!

Happy almost end of winter! We cannot wait to get out there and start planting delicious veggies for all of you (and us) to enjoy! Our first seedlings are already stretching their roots in our greenhouse, and they seem eager to get outside as well.

We’ve been spending our winter planning the upcoming season, and making sure this year’s CSA will be even better than last years. Some of you were members last year, and some of you are new to our farm, but either way, we hope that all of you will consider signing up for our CSA for this season.  We are working diligently to make sure it’s a banner year!

If you’re already familiar with what a CSA is, please feel free to skip ahead, but just in case you’re not sure….

What is a CSA?

CSA stands for community supported agriculture.  It is essentially a subscription to fresh, seasonal vegetables.  Every week, for 20 weeks, we will provide you with a box of our best vegetables.  It is a great way to stay connected to the seasons and also involved with where your food is coming from.  Joining a CSA also encourages you to eat plenty of vegetables, and to try some that you may have never seen before.  We include some of our favorite recipes to ensure that you know how to use and enjoy whatever may show up each week.

This season we are excited to announce that we will be partnering with Homefield Kitchen and Brewery in Sturbridge, MA.  We will not only be doing one of our CSA pick-ups there on Wednesday, but our vegetables will also be featured on their menu, and their beer will be available to take home at a discount to our members.  I will also be there during the pick-up hours to chat with anyone who wants to get to know more about how their food is grown, and wants to get to know their farmer!

In addition to Homefield, we will also be dropping off CSA shares at our Holden location (67 Donald Ave) on Tuesday evenings.  If you have more than 5 people who are interested in joining and would like me to add a new pick-up location, please let me know!

Our CSA runs for 20 weeks, and each share contains at least $20 worth of vegetables, fruits, berries, and/or herbs.  We occasionally will include a special gift which could be anything from home made bread, to t-shirts, to loose leaf tea.

We appreciate people who pay for their membership in full, which comes to $400 due at the first pick-up in June.  We also understand that monthly payments are usually more manageable, so we do offer that option.  If you choose you can pay $90 due at the first pick up of every month from June-October.  We accept cash, check, Venmo, Credit/Debit, and paypal.

If all of this sounds good to you, GREAT!  All you have to do to sign up is fill out this simple form. We hope you decide to do so!!!!!!

Thank you so much for your time and support!
